Parisian Chic

The best thing about living in Europe, is that it's so practical when it comes to traveling around. I jumped on the Euro star after class and I was in Paris two hours later. Although it was the end of Paris Fashion Week, I managed to get into a few show rooms to check out the summer 2012 collections, all filled with color and texture!!

As my second week came along, I realized that although the reputation London has about it's weather is true there are random days where the sun is shining and the ray bans come out! And that's when everyone heads to the markets - Portobello market to be exact! I headed to Notting Hill to check out the antiques ... and the food of course!

My Big Move to London

Getting accepted to do my masters at the London College of Fashion was more than a dream come true, it meant starting a new life in a beautiful city that I have never been to before. Packing up all my life that I had in Montreal and moving it into one bedroom was extremely difficult, but it made me realize that I need to compress everything into this one little space and the idea of adding new exciting features to it was a challenge I was willing to take. The move was easy at first, a few friends took me in and showed me around the city.. using public transportation, major restaurants and the good clubs. But once they left, reality strike and here I was trying to figure out things on my own. Today, I grasp every moment that I experience here in London. The city is full of opportunities, full of style and full of life.

The week I arrived was London Fashion Week, and luckily I snagged tickets to the Matthew Williamson fashion show. It was an experience to remember and for sure the greatest way to start my new journey. Check out pictures I snapped from the show, even though the clothes aren't clear you could get the idea of what the runway looks like.
