goodbye winter ... hello spring!

As the winter Olympics are coming to an end, maybe we have a little more faith in the spring time. We will however always love our soft pastel furs that Burberry gave us this spring and with the waist belt that's added, it makes it feel a little less bulky and a little more flattering. Maybe it's time we lost the furry hats and gloves that keep us warm in the subzero weather we've been having!

Looking at Milan fashion week, we see how Balmain continues to pull the trend of the big shoulder but developing it more into the military trend by adding leather pants, combat boots, gold buttons and khaki colors all of which make us want to join the army. Net-a-porter have a few pieces of Balmain's latest collection but is it worth splurging to get the look? Walking around the city looking for earthy colored shorts, shirts and boots can't be that bad -- can it?
